| Fall 2009 With the leadership of a new and dedicated coach, we are playing better than ever. Hoping to get back into third division after this season, we are playing hard and learning to utilize our talent for success. Congrats to our striker Liz, who will soon join the small but growing OC mama club! March 2009 Off to a great start this season with a full roster of die hard soccer gals! It was amazing to see so many people at the games who were jazzed to play and ready to win. We just need to work on those finishes as we had SOOOO many shots on goal in the 2nd half. I'm so excited to see where we will be in a couple of weeks as we continue to learn each other's moves and playing tactics. If we played this well on the first game, the next ones have got to be even better! March 2008 We are off to a great start this season with some strong additions to the team. Still in need of a coach, but learning how to manage ourselves better and better. We will begin practicing this week after the time change. Practice will take place on Wednesday nights from 6:00pm until dark at Piper Park. February 2008 We are getting ready to start our fourth season in the GGWSL. We are looking to add a couple more players and would love to find the right coach. Practice will begin soon! |

| The Orange Crush is a Marin-based team committed to improving soccer skills and advancing in the Golden Gate Soccer League. The team was founded in 2006 by three women who wanted to play more competitive soccer with an awesome group of women. After challenging in to the 4th division and winning, the OC worked hard to build a strong core of players and to find the right coach. Mission accomplished, in the spring season of 2007 the team achieved its second goal of moving up a division by coming in first place.
This is a young team both in age (at least in spirit) and history still developing its personality and goals. We seek soccer lovers who are willing to develop fitness and commit to weekly practices in Marin with our excellent coach Devo. We ask that players commit to at least 80% of the Saturday games. Orange Crush tries to play as much as possible, including 7 v 7 leagues and tournaments, though we all have busy lives and the availability for these additional activites varies. This is a fun team full of enthusiasm and a love of the game. |
