IV Season Procedures
A Scheduling, Fields and Referees
B First Vice President, Discipline
Allie Fung was not present at the meeting. She was going to have a print out of all red and yellow cards issued last season with comments that teams had. Allie will have the report available at the September meeting.
C Vice President, Tournaments
Ilisa Kessler stepped down as Vice President Tournaments and Darcy Whaley, Bay City United, has temporarily replaced her. The GGWSL Annual Tournament had to be cancelled because of lack of participation. Only 11 teams entered and 16 are needed and those 11 were not in the same division. The Executive Committee
agreed to cancel the tournament. Darcy suggested having a scrimmage with teams which are interested. Ian said the field reservation at the Polo Field was cancelled and a new one would have to be made. If your team is looking for a practice game on either August 19th or 20th, contact Darcy at darcywhaley@excite.com.
D Vice President, New Players
Kelly Gould stepped down from this position and according to our By Laws, the Executive Committee can appoint a replacement. The Executive Committee appointed Frank Lopez, SF Fuego. Frank said the season is coming quickly. He will ask Ian to update the web site for teams looking for players and start from scratch. Frank will start a spreadsheet and if anybody needs a copy or information, Frank provided his email address and phone number to contact him (ftlopez@aatt.net/415-584-2004).
E Member at Large, CSAN Representative
Irma Rupport, Adelante, volunteered to go to CSAN once a month to attend CSAN’s monthly meetings, third Saturday of the month in Pleasanton. Irma had asked that we need some alternates for her in case she is gone. She is finding somebody from her team but it would be great if we had three people who could attend these meetings. Jan Crosbie-Taylor of Wildcats volunteered and Kristen Mueller of Pat O’Shea’s volunteered for the Spring season. Ian said the CSAN Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, August 26th in San Mateo and they were welcome to attend.
F Member at Large, League Affairs.

G Member at Large, Over 40’s
Barbara Elliott said that
H Other
(a) Ian reminded the Board of Directors that blue and white cards can be down-loaded from the web site.
(c) Ian said bye requests are due August 20th; only one per team.. The schedule cannot be done until bye requests are in and teams have paid. Teams should be prepared to play for the next 13 weeks and through December for the Fall/Winter
season and through June for the Spring Summer season. In the event of a rain out, games would be rescheduled on Sundays in Hayward. Mike Pizzo said he might be able to obtain Alto Loma field in SSF.
A discussion took place on fields. There are no fields available in Marin. Ian said we need five fields to accommodate games. Naomh Padraig will look into the Burlingame field. David Forsyth of Mudhens will investigate and be the contact for the field at Gillman and 5th in Berkeley.
Ian said there are no fields available in San Francisco for October 14th. Only have Hayward and Orange Park for that weekend.
A long discussion took place on CSAN registration for players and teams. Once Laura Beckett, Treasurer, has received all checks from teams entering the upcoming season, she provides CSAN with a list of teams and insurance for the teams that are in good standing with the League. This would take a week. Teams can then obtain from CSAN their Annual Mandatory Form, which must be signed by a member of the Executive Committee. All players have to be reregistered and the teams can then purchase their registration forms from CSAN. CSAN requires two weeks lead time for registration before the start of the season. Please see our web site for procedures.
Nancy McGovern reminded the League that our own Waiver and Release of Liability form needs to be sent to her before the first game. This form can be downloaded from our web site.
